On International Volunteer Recognition Day 2026, the Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin hosted the 6th edition of its annual HELP Awards, recognising individuals and organisations whose work has supported communities across Ireland. The event brought together volunteers, community leaders, human rights advocates, changemakers and past honourees.
Frank Allen, previous awardee, playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher, gave the keynote address. Awardees included Walk And Talk with Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland with Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish Association with Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince Ní Áogain with Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid from Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh news eu Baj and Neera Baj.
Created in 2019 by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, the HELP Awards honour those whose work improves the lives of others through service. The event also highlighted the wider mission of the Scientology Volunteer Minister programme, created by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, through which trained volunteers respond to social challenges and assist communities.
